Tea Till Dusk
Well organised, great track and a lovely evening.
It was a tight forect enduro but it didnt seem to suffer from any of the problems that you normally see at these events, everyone was good at letting people by. The course was a good combination of tough and easy going with only about 3 sections where you could get maybe 20 secs rest.
Here is a picture of Pete on his new bike.
Tea Till Dusk (or Any which way but lose)
Can you tell who is who on the picture?

The event was very well run, but I just dont enjoy the Hare and hounds format as much as a proper time card enduro, and the number of riders leads to loads of people pushing in long queues and lots of hold ups. Me Geoff and phil virtually gave up as we sat in a queue for about 15 mins on our last lap until finally we had to make a new track to get out of a stream. Some of the other competitors took a different approach and went for a swim in the stream (Dave Salkeld).
That said it was a good event and I really enjoyed catching up with friends and watching the really quick riders on the track.
I will put up acouple of pictures when I have some..

Hafren Rally
Hafren Rally
From Bob Mullins fantastic site.
"This years event will take place on Sunday December 10th, starting from the usual venue of Sweet Lamb motorsport complex, near the village of Llangurig. It will be run using the normal rally format, the course will be a mix of fire roads, forest tracks and open moorland, through the beautiful Mid Wales countryside. The lap will be approx 50 miles in length with approx 3 special stages per lap. There will be separate classes for both trail and enduro bikes and this year a special beginners class has been added to try and encourage new comers to have a go at a fun event. The beginners class will do the same course, but will be expected to complete a lap less and will start at the back of the entry so they are not riding amongst the quicker riders. As this is a fun social event, there will be a social get together on the Saturday evening in Llanidloes (venue to be confirmed) where a buffet and quiz will be laid on and give everybody a chance to have a chat and a few beers, not too many mind! Hafren Dirt Bike club would like to thank Husky Sport for kindly sponsoring this years event."
I have booked the Old Weather Station for the weekend. So it will be on a frist come first serve basis if you want accomdation.

Ouch
Report on the BEC 2 day at Rhayder From Bob Mullins site..
'Rob Faulkner had led the Veterans class with test times 3 seconds quicker than the fastest Clubman on Day 1 but he crashed out on Day 2 with a suspected dislocated shoulder.'
I Spoke to Rob today and he informed me that he has indeed seperated his shoulder and was thinking he would have to be operated on. However he went to the hospital this morning and was told that he would be OK and is now in a sling.
What it doesnt say on the site is that he rode the last 2 hrs by lifting his arm onto the bars with the other hand. So he could get some extra championship points!!!
Scott also finished the weekend with a good result
