Flat caps, trials and tribulations

There have been a few trials bikes kicking about for the last year or so and I have stood around in the woods a few times watching the odd trial here and there. The idea of trials has often tickled me with a solid grounding in the subject starting with Peter Pervis and kick start followed by the odd trip to old school trials with my dad. It's taken a few years but a couple of weeks ago I took the plunge and I am now the proud owner of an 02 Sherco 250. My first ride on it was straight in at the deep end with a trial at Beckley. I came a close second to last and had great fun doing so. Next up I will be looking for a flat cap and possibly a sports jacket with leather patches on the elbows.
