So i've been looking at ths video stuff a bit more recently and just wanted remember this clip, it's in HD and shows off something I have wanted to dabble with for a long time; time lapse photography.

Also catching my attention is the RED one, a digital equivalent to a full on cinema setup, there is a bunch of footage shot on one here. Interesting too is the up comming use of DSLR cameras to shoot video like the canon 5d mkII, a good article here.

Technology moves on and these first generation cameras will soon be followed up by some more affordable toys i'm sure. Be nice to make use of the big tellies everyone seems to have now.

I didn't get a chance to go on this trip what with having babies and the like but my bike did. Geoff is too lazy to build his brand spanker so he borrowed mine. It's going to be a year old before it sees any vans on its shiny new pedals.

Anyway Paul Foster did a sterling job of cutting some of the action together...

A nice shiny new year streaches out infront with a well worn one trailing behind.

This time we welcomed in 2009 at the Herdsfolks place with an Italian evening inspired by my christmas preasy to Mrs Herdsfolk i'm reliably informed. Jon went all out on the xbox games with some Taff pleasing trivia and some Sarah inspiring Kareoke games. A bit of old school shove h'penny thrown in on the side too.

Katie got her first new year welcomed in by Scooby Doo... a good time had by all so thanks to the Herdsfolk for doing a fine job.
